Profile Information

About Me:
I am 29, an MFA acting candidate at University of Montana. Born and raised in Denver but I have lived in San Diego, and College Station, TX. I love to travel; making and experiencing art of all kinds; and I love my dog to the moon, and back and the stars in the sky.
About my Loss:
I lost my father to cancer about 6 months ago. My dad and I were close for a time. About a month before he passed we had a falling out. Luckily I was able to visit him for two weeks before he passed, patch a few things up, and care for him. I held his hand while he released his last breath. That experience has been the hardest to grapple with. I've never watched a person die, let alone a family member. I think I have begun to make peace with all of that; however, his death left me a my siblings with some hidden resentments to work through. The day after my father died my brother told me I should kill myself. He was also quite emotionally abusive to my other brothers. The healing process was stunted a big due to these tensions, so I am here looking for a community of people with whom I can vent, cry, and continue healing.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
