Profile Information

About Me:
I am a born again Christian in my early fifties. I am unmarried with no children or siblings. I graduated with a degree in social work this year but was not able to work because I was a caregiver to my mother and due to bouts of Major Depression. I am receiving treatment for the condition which has been debilitating at times. The medication isn't really helping. My psychiatrist is reluctant to change medications and can't increase the dosage since there is no medication to treat depression symptoms that may stem from grief.
About my Loss:
My mother passed away in August 2015 after battling inoperable lung cancer and heart disease. I was the sole caregiver.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
