About my Loss:
My mom passed the Saturday before Thanksgiving, just 2 days after I left her to return home to another state for T-giving with my husband (the doctors had said she would probably make it past T-giving, but not to Christmas). Then exactly one week and a day after that I unexpectedly had to put my 16-year-old dachshund to sleep - grief upon grief. To make it worse, the vet botched the euthanasia.

Grandma sewing room
