About Me:
I have lost the person with whom my life found its meaning.
About my Loss:
I lost my husband, Bill, on November 27, 2011. He had made it back after 3 strokes caused by his LVAD (heart pump) failure. He was strong and happy and working on walking. He survived heart failure and strokes and the LVAD exchange, during which he was not expected to survive. And the rest caused some of his doctors to give up on him. But he didn't give up and he told me he would walk in one month. Then after all of our work and hope, he was overcome by a simple infection. And we never saw such a thing coming.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
