About Me:
Became very ill while on a trip overseas in July of 2015. Better than when I first returned home but still unable to drive or work. In the past 12 months I have lost my job, had to sell the house my husband and I built together, had to move into a basement apartment in my parent's home, and I have been in the hospital for health issues. I have a torn rotator cuff that will have to be repaired surgically so I am in constant pain.
About my Loss:
I lost my husband of 13 years suddenly and unexpectedly in August of 2013. We were on a weekend trip together in North Carolina. I was in another room and I heard him make a strange noise so I went to check on him. When I found him he appeared to be having a seizure. He died right in front of me in a matter of minutes. I found out later that he had suffered a massive heart attack. He did not have high blood pressure or cholesterol, and he was the most gentle and easy going person I have ever met. He had not had any warning signs or health issues. We had rented a cabin that weekend in a remote location so he passed away before the ambulance even arrived. Watching him die was the worst thing that I have ever witnessed. It was horrible to watch. I have flashbacks and I have been diagnosed with PTSD. Due to the trauma the recovery has been very slow. I do not sleep well. It is no longer acceptable to anyone at my church that I am still struggling. I feel incredibly alone. Nights are the hardest.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
