Profile Information

About Me:
I live in a very beautiful area of Santa Cruz. I am over two and a half years into my journey, and beginning to suspect that this may continue for some time to come. I am a writer/actor/artist/musician who is beginning to feel the effects that grief is having on all of the above; mainly a loss of excitement, hope, and discipline. I have not had much luck in finding the muse, and I have received, for the most part, inadequate support from friends and family. So It is time to try something new.
About my Loss:
On May 8, 2008 I found that my wife, my mate of ten years, had died suddenly in her sleep. We were married officially, (with much fanfare and a long honeymoon), just the summer before. She was my best friend, lover, and collaborator. Dealing with her death has been at times agonizing, sublime, magical, soul wrenching, confusing, enlightening, and remains a lonely journey.

I just lost my husband in October and I scares me to think your journey has been so long and the struggles for you are still overwhelming. Everyday that I get up is so such a lonely struggle I have my kids for support but to lose your best friend, lover and companion such such a burden. It is heart breaking how many people have to go thru such heartbreak
