- On Sunday I was on the phone with my sister when Christopher said he needed to go to bed. I said good night and continued to talk with my sister for about an hour then went to bed. The next morning he would not turn off his alarm I tried to wake him then I got out of bed turned on the light and knew immediately he was dead. I never got a chance to say goodbye. We will never grow old together,he will miss graduations, birthdays, weddings, and grandkids all those moments in our kids lives.. And my seven year old daughter will she even remember her dad. She will grow up without his imprint in her life.
