Profile Information

About Me:
My husband and I moved to the Pocono mountains about four years ago, which we called our paradise. We were married for35 yrs. I have been disabled for 25 yrs with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and I am mostly housebound. I am also a mosaic artist.
About my Loss:
My husband, Bill, was diagnosed with brain cancer about 18 month ago. We were high school sweethearts and have been together ever since. I took care of him at home. I promised him that I would not put him in a nursing home. He passed away two weeks ago and I still can't believe that I will never see him again.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More

Traumatic loss of an only child

I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
