About Me:
I am a 53 year old single woman. I live alone with my dogs,in a very rural area. I am recently unemployed, and have just in the last week found myself very depressed. It was the 30 year anniversary of the loss of my son. I have done well over the years coping but last week I had an experience that triggered memories and flashbacks of past abuse. On Jan. 29,2000 I was beaten and my scull and face smashed in with a huge rock and left on the side of a mountain dead. It was at the hands of my then boyfriend who was never prosecuted for the crime.
Three years later my ex brother in law held me at knife point for over 16 hours. My little dog ended up dead an I finally was able to escape with her little body in my bag.
Some one the other day, who says he was just joking around scared me with a knife causing a trigger in me. I have had nightmares every night since, I can't sleep through the night, and I shake all day. I have never been through any thing like this and I want my life back.
About my Loss:
I awoke one morning and my house was on fire. My three year old made it out but my three month old son I was unable to save. I was burned over 40% of my body trying to get to him. Ok, that's as much as I can write for now. There is much more but...

Grandma sewing room
