About Me:
I'm a 39 year old Special Education Teacher who lives in NY
About my Loss:
I was married to my high school sweetheart on Aug 24, 2003 after 13 years of dating. We had 1 child (a son, who was 16 at the time of his death). My husband had a genetic kidney disease and was on dialysis for 4 years. My first cousin (my mom's niece) volunteered to give him one of her kidneys. He received her kidney and 2 weeks to-the-day after his surgery, he died of a heart attack. I was told that the the dialysis had taken a to on his heart and now with a full functioning kidney his heart couldn't take it. I was 36 years old with a mortgage and a child going off to college.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
