- About Me:
- I am currently a PhD student in Social Work. I am writing my dissertation on the concept of disenfranchised grief. I was also a caregiver for my father with Alzheimer's for 10 years. He died 2007.
- About my Loss:
- I lost my mother to lupus in 1997 while pregnant with my first child. I then took care of my father for 10 years as his Alzheimer's dementia progressed. I lost a brother in law to suicide two years ago.

Hi everyone. This is my first post here.I lost my brother in December 2024 to an accidental overdose. He passed away suddenly in his sleep.
