About my Loss:
On February 17, 2015 my father was diagnosed with brain cancer. Between February and June he underwent multiple chemotherapy treatments. In June he received a stem cell transplant which went miraculously, we were so excited. In the fall of 2015 I came home to him by himself in the chair having a seizure. Immediately I phoned 911 and my mom at work. When he arrived at the hospital they told us that the cancer was back. He then underwent radiation therapy. Once again we had hoped he was cured. He fell ill again in early 2016, where he lost the use of the left side of his body. February 17, 2016 he came home for the last time. It was a long battle to get him out of the hospital and get him home because we had to find a palliative care doctor. He was not going to get better this time. On March 8, 2016 shortly after 6:00pm my father passed away in our living room. He was surrounded by the people he loved and passed the way that he wanted to. Myself, my mother, my grandmother, my boyfriend (who was like a son to him) and our beloved family dog.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
