Profile Information

About Me:
I am a 67 year old man, have three years of college. I have been very independent and have never wanted anyone to share my personal feelings with. I have been described as a big A personality, but have been changing this, as I want on to be a meek, mild mannered man.
About my Loss:
I lost my wife on the fourth of November, 2011 and it is killing me slowly. I cannot seem to deal with the loss, and break down several times a day. It is not getting easier, as she was my second wife and had fallen in love with her. I loved before but not in love, there is a great difference in the two. She had evolved into the best person I had ever met in my life. She did'nt even think like most of us, but it took her many years of AA and God to evolve into the person she became. I miss her every hour of every day. I do not love easily and had not been in love with my first wife, whom I did love.
Are You a Service Provider? If Yes, please tell us about your service.
I had been her only caretaker for the past five years, dealing with Alzheimers and then she developed lung cancer four months before her death. She ask me not to have anyone come into our home and I did as she ask. I was alone with her all those years and mostly house bound.

My mom died 4 months ago

My mom had pulmonary fibrosis. She was sick for a few years. It was funny how when my grandmother smoked, my mom would always say-I’m gonna die from second hand smoke. My mom never smoked. She died from lung disease. Ironic.I was fine at the funeral. Planning. Talking to everyone. I thought u handled it great. Now 4 months later, I’m a mess. Some days I’m perfectly fine, but others I can’t walk down the street without crying. I keep thinking that I haven’t talked to her in a while & I…See More
