- About my Loss:
- I was 19 years old when my mother died. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and put up a strong 6 year fight with that disease. The day of het surgery/diagnosis is embedded in my mind; I knew my life was forever changed. Almost 4 years later the pain of her loss is still just as hard and I miss her more and more everyday. My father has never really been in the picture since my mother died. Parentless in this giant world. Death is hard to deal with but I feel like I am a stronger more caring person from this.
