About my Loss:
We recently lost our sweet baby girl. Our daughter was exactly 1 week old and was at our home when she passed away in her sleep.
Although there were no complications or issues during my pregnancy, she did decide to enter the world a little sooner than we expected. Our sweet girl was 3 weeks & 3 days "preterm" ; however, she weighed a healthy 7 pounds & 2 ounces at birth & was completely healthy when I delivered her at my doctor's office (yes, my doctor's office)! My doctor said "Baby #8 didn't wait!" Of all our children (she made #11), she definitely had the best & most unique birth story! Now, her "birth story" isn't quite the same (or, as fun to tell) because her life ended all too soon

Grandma sewing room
