About Me:
I'm 20. Student.
About my Loss:
I lost my dad two months and 4 days ago. He was 80. He had throat cancer. A tumor on his voice box. He had 35 radiation treatments and 13 chemo treatments. I drove him to all of them. I was being homeschooled & gave it up to take care of him at 17. I later got my g.e.d. He went into remission. A few months later the cancer was back in the same exact spot. He had a total laryngectomy. It's been almost three years since I last heard his voice. He was back in remission. Until a few months later when they thought the cancer came back in his lymph nodes. It turned out to be a rumor wrapped around his left corotid artery. He then had radical next surgery, they removed most of the tumor and his carotid artery. Part of his clavicle. He was in the hospital for 3 and a half weeks. He went into remission for a few months. First it came back in his leif. He got a radiation treatments which shrunk the tumor. Then it came back in his brain. & he got radiation for it. Until it came back in his other lung and was bleeding. He got a couple radiation treatments. But by then he was losing his will to live. He needed to be helped going to the bathroom, to the car, everywhere. The week before he died, he was in te hospital with breathing problems. They treated him for pnuemonia. He came home Friday and he seemed to be doing okay. By Saturday morning he was having trouble breathing. Hospice was called. He died early on Thursday morning 2/16. I miss him.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
