About Me:
31 year old orphan, with a beautiful family. I've been married a year and a half to a man I've known over half my life. We grew up together and he was there for me through the loss of both of my parents. We have an amazing 6 year old son who is in 1st grade this year. Over the summer I quit my job as a preschool teacher and became a care provider to a developmentally disabled man who lives with us. I'm essentially a paid stay at home mom now.
About my Loss:
10 years ago my mother lost her battle with small cell lung cancer. I was 21 at the time and spun out of control after that. It took a couple years to get my shit together and rebuild my relationship with my father. Three years ago my father died very suddenly from a blood clot that form in his broken leg. Both were tremendous blows to me and some days, despite the time and years that has passed, I still feel like I'm reeling from it all.

Grandma sewing room
