About Me:
I am a 46 year old widow who is raising an almost 10 year old granddaughter. I work as an emergency room technician, mainly providing care and support to patients in psychiatric emergencies while we find them inpatient treatment beds.
About my Loss:
My husband of over 12 years died of occlusive coronary artery disease on August 12 2016 when we were hiking out from a 5 day backpacking trip in Indian Heavens wilderness along the Pacific Crest Trail. He was only 47 years old and had no cardiac disease history. Due to the area in which we were hiking and spotty cell phone reception it took a long time for search and rescue personnel to arrive.

Grandma sewing room
