Profile Information

About Me:
I am 59 years old. I live in Hemet, CA. I work in the receiving department at the Riverside, CA Home Depot. I am originally from Pekin, Illnois. My wife and I were married for 21 years. She is the best friend I ever had.
About my Loss:
On January 17, 2013 my wife and I were told that she had lung cancer. She spent almost the entire month of February in the hospital. On the 28th of February she came home to go into hospice. She passed away on April 5, 2013. This has happened so quickly I can't believe she's really gone. I guess I'm just in shock, I feel numb most of the time. I feel like I'm just going thru the motions of life without really living.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
