About Me:
The grieving process, while I understand the words written about the process I still feel detached from it, and the feelings I have are overwhelming at times.
About my Loss:
I lost my Dad after a long battle with cancer, I took FMLA so I could be there with him and Mom when the end time came, 8 weeks of watching him die, trying to be emotionally detached enough to do what needed to be done to ensure that his time was as safe, happy, and the best it could be under the circumstances. The grieving had begun long before that when the terminal diagnosis was given this past February.
