About Me:
I lost my mum on Christmas Day, 2012. I was deeply lost in grief for several months, missing her and my dad very painfully. I moved through a lot of the trauma, but lately am feeling overwhelmed sometimes by how much I miss them both. I just wish I could talk to them and hear their voices and talks bout stuff. It's that simple. No-one knows me like they did, not my husband, not my friends. They were th wonky people who really knew me and appreciated me for who I am. I miss them so much sometimes it is a physical, pain in my chest.
About my Loss:
I was a carer for both my parents who lived with me and my husband before they each went into care. I was extremely close to both of them and lived in the same street before that. I spoke to both of them every day.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
