- I am 48 and I just lost the love of my life on 7/29/09 he was 46.
- About my Loss:
- My husband and I had been together for 33 years (married 28 of them) we met when he was 13 and I was 15 it was love at first sight. On the morning of my husbands death he woke up around 4 am and told me to call 911 he had bad chest pains the ambulance came and took him to the hospital. The ER doctor listen to what my husband had to say and started mocking him, told my husband that this was not and emergency situation and he thought my husband just had reflux. By that time my husband was so humiliated he just wanted to go home it was 6 am, the doctor told him he was going to admit my husband until 9 am to repeat some blood work, my husband was a very proud man and he told the doctor that if he just had reflux he would go home so the doctor had him sign an AMA (against medical advice) form but he told my husband it was hospital policy and he didn't have a problem with him going home so my husband signed it and told the doctor he would follow-up with his own heart doctor the doctor said "why would you do that theres nothing wrong with your heart" anyway to make a long story short we got home at about 6:30am and went to bed...I found my husband the love of my life dead in bed at 4 pm that same day. I don't know if I can live without him he was my everything out of the 28 years we were married we had only been apart about 10 times...he was my best friend...how do you recover from this...I don't believe I ever will. Sorry for being so long winded but I just can't believe it.
