About Me:
I'm a middle aged lady who works outside the home. My main hobby is creating greeting cards and things using rubber stamps. I love to walk and enjoy being outdoors. Enjoy gardening on a small scale and I have three very special cats.
About my Loss:
I lost my Dad very suddenly in 1980. He had a massive heart attach. Also lost two step-fathers, one in 1995, from heart failure and one in 2008 from pneumonia. My Mom was with me through thick and thin and in 2006 she began to develop dementia. I cared for her up until March of 2010 when she entered assisted living. In July she started having strokes and entered a nursing home and by September she had a massive stroke. My sister, niece and I sat by her bedside until she died five days later. Since losing my Dad, Mom had been my rock. Whenever there was heartache, or another loss we got through it together. Now, six months later I still hurt, but I don't want to burden my family and friends any longer. I am looking for a place where I can talk to others who are going through the same thing.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
