About Me:
I am 51 yrs old, live with my partner Paul my daughter Claire and my granddaughter. I am a road safety campaigner for Birmingham. I have also started a support group last year www.Sortvictims. co.uk ( support our road traffic victims).
About my Loss:
In 2012 my 2 daughter's Sarah 26 & Claire 24 and 30 wks pregnant were crossing a road they had crossed many times, they were both hit by a speeding driver. Sarah was killed and Claire injured.
I still can't believe my Sarah has gone, my grief turned into a fight, to try and stop anymore innocent victims from this terrible crime.
I can say every day is a struggle, at times I want to curl up in a corner. But then I think of my Sarah and the struggle and pain Claire has come through. So I pick myself up and start the fight again.
I would just like to say I am here if any support is needed.
Avril

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
