About Me:
Lost my husband Jan9th this yr I'm a retired care manager who finished work on health grounds Have supportive family & friends but feel I'm boring them sometines.Often put a painted smile on the outside but agony internally Luckily I have a dog who I have to walk daily Feel very lonely even in company!!
About my Loss:
My husband Tony had prostate cancer for 5yrs but lost his fight due t sepsis at the end due t chemo side effects etc luckily he wasn't too ill & the end was quick for him Some days are bearable but others are agony& I suffer with angina + other health issues.We were returning home after Hogmany in Scotland to Yorkshire on 8th jan, when he became ill& died the early hrs of the 9th jan So I have the memory t cope with of the day/night it happened & his death the Nxt am. He took early retirement t travel & look after me he was only 65yr when.he died & used t say when I get to 65 I will go just like that!! Which upset me then & more so now as he was right My dog has become my soulmate & keeps me going Tony used to say " Max when I'm not here your the head of the house you look after mum" He does know when I'm down & sits by me then he will do things that used t make us both laugh!!!. I hope that one day my experiences will make me a better person& perhaps help others in.their grief .They say time is a healer-I will see!!

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
