About my Loss:
My baby boy, Kai, was delivered 14 weeks early to save my life and his (due to preeclampsia/hellp). Kai was in the NICU 11 months before coming home and he was only home a total of 13 days before he was back in the Peds ward for the last 4 weeks of his life. Kai spent his whole life on some form of respiratory support, but he was otherwise healthy and happy. We expected a long road, but a full recovery. Unfortunately, the steroids that helped him breath turned on him and Kai died on Oct 29, 2009.

Grandma sewing room
