About Me:
I am really not sure what to say for now.
About my Loss:
My son suddenly died July 10th 2007 of an accidental overdose of methadone.Michael had survived a near death roller blading accident and took pain medicine he knew nothing about. He obtained the 2 waffers of methadone from a "friend" He was 21 enrolled in the Navy but died before his training. It is coming up on 5 years this July! I keep slipping back and forth. Depression and PTSD is like cancer of the mind. I now realize no-one understands the world I walk in except others who have lost their child. I admit to you all I can't do this without help and support. My sons biological father abandon us when I was 3 mo's pregnant with my first child. He had 3 step fathers. I really do feel alone even around people who love me. I could have done better for him.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
