About Me:
I married my wonderful husband at the ripe old age of 19 while I was still in high school (long story). We were married for 17 wonderful years and have two fantastic daughters Krystina (14) and Emilee (7). I'm a learning photographer and am trying to learn how to live again.
About my Loss:
In 2012 my husband was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive Kidney cancer (specifically Stage IV Type II Papillary Renal Cell Carcinoma). I was his caregiver during his fight. And while it wasn't easy I was honored and proud to be there to take care of him. Three days before he passed away he became coherent enough to tell me "I love you" one last time. After that he was put into sedation until he passed. The morning he passed I was with him, holding his hand, kissing him and telling him how much I loved and was proud of him. This was my final gift to him and I am so honored that I was able to be there not only for the great times but for his hard and final time as well.

I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
