About Me:
I am alone now. I lost the one person that I depended on most in life. I find it difficult to move on and just to simply have a good day. At times it feels like there is absolutely no peace anywhere in my life...as if I am in an emotional war zone and no help has arrived. I was diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety and severe depression after my losses, but pills don't change things and do very little to help me cope.
About my Loss:
A little over a year ago my husband and I layed down to sleep. A few hours later something woke me up and I thought he was snoring...he wasn't...he had a massive heart attack. Living without him has become the hardest thing that I have faced in my life. He was my best-friend, the person who balanced me, the one that always had my back. I feel as if I am still living minute by minute without him. Two weeks after he passed almost to the minute I lost my oldest sister to lung cancer. Nothing has gotten easier for me...each day seems to be a struggle just to survive. I constantly feel that stabbing pain in my heart that never seems to ease.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
