- My mom was my bf. I spent 7 years taking care of her n then 1 year in a nursing home. She was very happy there for 6 months- she left my abusive father n was free for the 1st time.she was an incredibly beautiful person the kind that would always give u the last piece of pie.she was funny sweet selfless- she loved me unconditionally. She had alot of health problems but died of congestive heart failure. My grief takes my breatn away. I try to stay busy to distract myself but i am dying inside. I cant imagine my life without her. Its been 2 weeks- i dont want time to pass because it is moving me furthur away.i would love to talk
