About Me:
I'm 22 years old and am a preschool teacher.
About my Loss:
I lost my mom December 3, 2012. It was and still is the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with. My mom had sugery on my 22 birthday to have a lump removed. This was February 2012. We were told a few weeks later it was cancer. She began radiation and things were looking up. Then in July 2012 my mom's legs went numb. The Dr.,s said it was a pinched nerve. A week later she was almost fully paralyzed from the waste down. She went in for emergency surgery to get half of a Timor the size of an orange in her spine. They told me she only had 5 months left and they were right. In November my mom slipped into dismentia and i knew her life was coming to an end. I held my mom as she took her last breath. I held her as her heart stopped beating and her eyes rolled up. It hurt and still does. I wish I could have saved her. She gave me life and i held her as here's was taken.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
