About Me:
I am a 23 year old recent college graduate. I am in the transition stage between college and "adulthood."
About my Loss:
I lost my dad about a week after graduating college. Juggling a very ill father while working full time during my final semester was a horrible experience for me.

My dad passed on August 19, 2012. He had cancer for about 6 weeks. Although Hodgkin Lymphoma is a very easily treated disease, his heart failure and muscular diseases made the chemo therapy lethal, and he succumbed to the cancer within two weeks.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More

Traumatic loss of an only child

I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
