- About Me:
- My name is Allie. I am 19 years old. I have graduated from SWMHS in 2014. I like to giggle and laugh. My zodiac sign is a cancer which means I am a very emotional person. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I need to learn how not to let that get the best of me. I am like any other person with bad qualities as well as good ones. I want to help others as I get the help I am seeking.
- About my Loss:
- I recently just lost my father due to a long and tough battle of cancer on 12/31/15. At my age, it is very unsettling to know I will go through life without the person who showed me how to be the young woman I am today. Last Thanksgiving, he was put on hospice care. That gave my family and I a few short weeks to start to cope with what is the hardest loss of my life. The doctors and nurses said he has two to three days up to a week to live. He survived a whole month. It sucks that we all thought we were ready, but in reality you can tell yourself you are ready to let go as much as you want even when you know you aren't. I need to surround myself with positivity. I lost all hope. I need to gain it back, I am finally realizing I do need help.
