I'm about to begin medication, I'm worried about my reaction and getting hooked on it. Any advice?

My Fathers Loss

Traumatic loss of an only child
I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
Loss of a loved one to alcohol, substance abuse or suicide
If you have lost a loved one to alcohol, substance abuse or suicide please share your story or feelings here. Share the love and beauty of the one you lost. Losing someone any of these ways is not natural and can be hard to understand and ask why? I lost my Mother to an overdose 9 years ago. She also suffered from major depression. My name is Anita Kelly. I am so very sorry for your loss. I too lost my husband Oct. 26, of 2009. I came home from work & found him. If that wasn't enough I lost my job 3 months 2 months later after 17 yrs. A lot happened in a very short time. I still feel like I am in a dream when everyone seems to be moving on. We are here for each other. A friend of mine told me about this site I'm glad I joined. On this site no one says you should be over it, etc. The pictures you posted are beautiful.
