Traumatic loss of an only child
I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.

If you have lost a loved one to alcohol, substance abuse or suicide please share your story or feelings here. Share the love and beauty of the one you lost. Losing someone any of these ways is not natural and can be hard to understand and ask why? I lost my Mother to an overdose 9 years ago. She also suffered from major depression. This January will be tough for the both of us. I have been in so much pain, but it is weird as the year felt as it went fast.
I am sorry for your unexpected loss. Its horrifying when it happens and you just talked to him two hours before. My husband died on 1-7-2016 in a hunting accident and when the Sheriff pulled in the drive, it was the worst moment in my life. I said I would never eat or drink anything, as he was not going to be doing with me and I wanted to be with him. But, my body would not let me do it. First I gave in on the water and went about a week with out food.
I noticed with both lost husbands and live in ohio, sent u a friend request.
