- I am a new widow, age 51. I just lost my spouse of 11.5 years on Sept 29th, suddenly. I live in St. Petersburg, I work as a Nurse at a local facility, and have enjoyed caring for my patients or nearly 25 years. I have 3 fur babies. A beautiful Weimaraner, age 8. A cat about 4 years old and a new little 8 week old kitten. He was a new addition, to but some life back into me after the sudden loss of my husband.
- About my Loss:
- It was sudden, still being investigated by local police department. I am feeling, lost, empty, mad, sad, anxious, torn. I wasn't able to grieve with his family, like I had expected I should have, I was not allowed to. I feel slighted, hurt, and devastated not just from the loss of my husband, but also from the manner in which I was treated by his family.
