About my Loss:
We met around age 15 and became very close friends for two years. Best friends. If I had to label it I'd call him my brother. We gradually lost contact just being at different schools and things but always maintained the love, we didn't see each other or catch up enough... and now... I am 20 years old. I lost him to suicide just over a month ago. I miss him more than anything but all this time we've been busy with our own lives I've missed him, the only thing that's changed now is knowing it's not a choice. I can't do anything about the fact I haven't seen him in a while, and when I could do something, I didn't take that chance. Guilt... Deep deep sadness. Regret. I haven't had these feelings so deep embedded in me before and I don't know what to do, what will stop the nightmares and the crying. I've been advised to let it out. So I'm trying...
