I think you're right about my friend. It was just him in the "gotta fix it" mode and not knowing how. I'm sorry about your wife. I agree, life feels so very empty. I've had a bad day today/yesterday (Saturday). So, I'm feeling his loss more than ever.

Hi, I loved what your wrote, im sure your friend didnt mean to shrug you off, I hear stuff like this all the time, we who suffer grief are very much alone, its been a year to the day when my wife passed, 18th September 2014. She was my world, now life is empty. Im left to look after our little Yorkie, she is 3 in December.

I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
