Sunflower, thank you so much for your loving thoughts. This Is What It Feels Like is my 100th poem. All the poems I've written are on my wall. I started by writing lots of words but as I submit my poems to The Grief Toolbox I've had to cut down the words recently as the window they publish the poem in on Facebook is only 2.5 inches high and 4 inches wide. I thought of you on Monday, it was lovely that you lit candles for your loved ones. I live in the UK too. I live near Milton Keynes in Bucks. As you say we've had lots of rain and some hail. Let me know how you get on with your spiritual healing. I do hope you can find some peace. Bless you.

Thank you so much for another lovely poem and your kind words.  You have a natural gift for putting in just a few words what the grief of your loved one feels like.  Monday was a very emotional day for me, after visiting the crematorium I went into the church nearby and lit 3 candles for my mum and dad and Mark.  The weather in the UK, I live in the East of England, has been very showery and while in the church there was a short heavy shower of hail stones and the darknest of the clouds and the heavy rain seemed to symbolise how I felt.  I am thinking of giving up visiting my counsellor a miss this week and instead I am going to visit the Spiritualist Church in Norwich, which is 2 miles away from my home to receive spiritual healing. I am hoping the visit will give me a little peace.

Loving thoughts to you and thank you again for your response.

Does anyone else feel pressure to always reply because you're afraid it'll be the last conversation?

Hi everyone. This is my first post here.I lost my brother in December 2024 to an accidental overdose. He passed away suddenly in his sleep. We were only a year and a half apart in age, and he was the closest person I've ever had.One thing I've been struggling with ever since is that I feel an overwhelming pressure to reply to texts and answer calls as soon as I can. If someone messages me and I don't respond right away, my mind starts thinking, "What if something happens to them before I reply?…See More
