I lost my husband 2 months ago he died in his sleep next to me. He was not in bad health it was just sudden & I would have never thought he would die so soon. I have cried at times. It is the little things that I truly miss. I know it must get better as time goes on but I miss him so. I recently had knee surgery & he was always there for me making sure the bed was made & made sure I was comfortable. It is the little things I miss most. We had been married for 15 years our wedding anniversary is coming up nov 3. How do you handle the loneliness?

i am so sorry.i hope u are feeling better.i dont know how to deal with the lonliness.and u r right, its the little things i miss, especially the kindness they showed, and even simple things like taking out the garbage(i still have a full garbage can, that has been sitting there since peter died,)i dont know what is worse, losing a man u have loved for 15 years,or one like my peter who i was only with for a year, never getting to see the potential of what could have been.probly yours is worse,i'm sure you were so close, and his loss is felt in every day to day task.yes, the lonliness is terrible.
