My beautiful son Silas passed on from cancer on May 27th, 2008, he was only 29.  May 27 is a day I will never forget, watching my lovely and funny guy take his last breath and move on from his life here.  He died way too soon; he was looking forward to so much in life.  Cancer took my son quickly; less than 8 months after his diagnosis.  It was in his spine, and in his bones, and the pain was unbearable.  Still, Silas kept his humor and determination.  I have put together a short video on my son with footage he began to take as soon as he was diagnosed, as well as footage of others who love him so.  I have also started a fund for young adults with cancer; Sy's Fund.  I have included that link as well

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More

Traumatic loss of an only child

I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
