Losing Someone to Sudden Cardiac Arrest

Information

Losing Someone to Sudden Cardiac Arrest

Sudden Cardiac Arrest: is a condition when the heart suddenly and unexpectedly stops beating. SCA usually causes death if it's not treated immediately.

I lost my husband, Matt, to SCA on September 27th, 2010. It was an agonizing three month wait for the autopsy results.

I feel it is important to meet others who's lives have been affected by SCA. To share stories and to grieve together. As well as to raise awareness.
