Today is my first birthday without both parents

Today is my birthday..After mom's homegoing in Jan. of this year, this will be the 1st year of my birhday without either parent...just a thought here: wonder if mom got dad, my sis who was born dead when i was 7 years old, and the 2 children my wife & i have yet to see, and somewhere looked over heaven's gates and sang their own version of, Happy Birthday?  That would be the sweatest sound yet!..So do miss not getting a card from mom.

I lost both parents to cancer last year and the first of everything without them is so hard I was very close to them I wanted to write back to this when I read about you missing the card cause I so miss getting a card from my mom

So sorry for your loss it seems like birthdays and holidays are the hardest.

Does anyone else feel pressure to always reply because you're afraid it'll be the last conversation?

Hi everyone. This is my first post here.I lost my brother in December 2024 to an accidental overdose. He passed away suddenly in his sleep.
