That was horrible I'm so sorry sweetie it would have been better if people new your mom to get up and speak. So sorry for your loss .. My mom passed away Dec. 17 2015.
Yes I wanted to get up and speak but it didn't work out that way. My brother in law did make me feel better when he said" Is there ever a good funeral"? He is right, no matter what had happened nothing would have been right because my Mother wasn't with me. How are you dealing with the loss of your Mother? If you don't mind sharing with me
Not to good, I have good days and bad mostly bad. But I know she is with Jesus . I was very close to my mom, I miss her so much people say it does get better. Time.. I really don't believe it I'm hurting real bad. Maybe I do need time . not really sure.

Traumatic loss of an only child

I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
