The thing is jb that people who don't forgive will NOT be forgiven by our Heavenly Father.

Notice what Jesus said

Matthew 6:14 — “For if YOU forgive men their trespasses, YOUR heavenly Father will also forgive YOU;"

Matthew 6:15 — whereas if YOU do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will YOUR Father forgive YOUR trespasses.

Yes people do judge.

Jesus himself said

Matthew 7:1 — “Stop judging that YOU may not be judged;"

Pretty clear to me. We should not judge anyone.

Dennis, I wanted to thank you for this wonderful material you have made available to us.

You are doing God's work.

Blessings,

Martha

Thank you Martha,

I do appreciate your desire to help others as well. Something that is very important to me is summed up in this quote from a a very famous man.

Comfort

“ If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth only soft soap and wishful thinking to begin, and in the end, despair. ”

Yes, TRUTH is really the source of the best comfort.

I am sorry for your losses and please let me know if you have any questions about what you have read here.

Dennis

Very good questions. And very normal for us when are grieving to feel this way.

One thing to remember though is that Death. Is NOT Gods doing.

It is not God who is taking everyone.

Everyone dies because of three people who made very selfish decisions.

1) Satan
2) Eve
3) Adam.

Notice this verse:

John 8:44 — YOU are from YOUR father the Devil, and YOU wish to do the desires of YOUR father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of [the lie].

Jesus called Satan the original "manslayer" or murderer.

Also note this verse:

Romans 5:12 — That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned—.

That one man is identified as Adam in verse 14.
