I was just wondering if anyone else does this...
I haven't cried much since my Dad has passed Aug.11th,2011.. When me and my mother and my other siblings talk about him I don't tend to cry but when someone else talks about him I can't stop the water works??

Tracie, sorry for your loss.  I do do the same thing sometimes.  I think it is because when someone else brings up my husband it still shocks my brain and I end up crying.  When I say something about Tom I know it is coming out my mouth and can cecide if I am able to do that right then or not.  Having said that, I still find myself saying something, or starting to say something without thinking about it and that REALLY starts the tears.

I guess when I say it, its okay that I still don't want to believe it and when I hear someone else say it, it makes it official!

My wife died about two weeks ago, everytime I talk to my mother inlaw, she starts tears it is very sad,I try to be strong,

I started going to hospice meeting,it is not have to be about cancer,it is just a place to go to talk to someone, and there is group meetings.

Tim I am so sorry to hear about your wife! I might have to look into the hospice meetings.. Thank you!
