About Me:
single mother to a 15 year old girl. Cannot work and on disability for last year and half. Very productive before the disability. Husband left. Don;'t mind that he was serious alcoholic, still is. Very productive and A student child, very proud.
About my Loss:
My father who was my hero, my protector developed Parkinsons Dementia 13 years ago. Disease was progressing and I went down south to bring him to leave with me 3 years ago. Was way to stressful for my family and my father went back down south where he's lived since retiring. I went to visit last Christmas and the shape that my father was in scared me, so many accidents had had happened and he fought so hard not to go into anhome. last January 4 he wandered outside, fell in a hole and froze to death.

"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection.
