About Me:
I am 45 years old, three kids and I live in the state of Tennessee. I have no family or friends here.
About my Loss:
I lost my wife of 21 years on Dec. 30, 2010 after 42 days hospital stay. I know lots of mistakes were made and my hands are legally toed do to a law passed in 2008. The grief, combined with frustration is beginning to take its toll on me.

Randy~Welcome to our web site.  There are a lot of wonderful supportive people here who are going through exactly the same.  I lost my husband Joe on December 3, 2010.  He was on the UNOS list waiting for a heart transplant but God had other plans for us.  I too am going through hassles with the VA (who denied him a transplant) the University of Chicago.  It's all too overwhelming.  I have two young adult children and three adorable little grandsons but they can't keep me company when the lights go out at night.  I'm lonely and frightened as I think we all are after we suffer such a huge loss.  It's frustrating and draining to our souls.  You need support from people who understand.  We are all here for you.  I'm sending you a friend request.

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
