- About my Loss:
- I lost my only child to alcohol poisoning on August 11, 2012, her first time drinking. She was 14. She was my life and I live my days feeling like hell. She was my best friend, my traveling partner, my everything.
I have always been open about talking about my loss to people. I've helped people when they lose a child. I talk to them and let them know "you may feel like this" and things like that.
I wish I had someone to talk to me and help me when I lost her. I was in the fog for a long time, not knowing where to go or what to do. I was just lost. I still am lost.

My daughter passed away on August 11, 2012.
This is the day my world ended. I woke up in a nightmare that I'm never gonna wake up from.
She was my best friend, my traveling partner, my everything.
She was a smaller version of me.
The day she left. Changed my world forever, my world shifted and I know it's never gonna shift back. I no longer live a normal life…

Traumatic loss of an only child
I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
