"Hello, I am a newbie.  I lost my father on May 22nd at 2.22am. He was 92 years old.  Loosing him is the hardest thing I have ever gone through.  I really miss him.  We were able to have a funeral for him but there were so many…"

About Me:
Just a gal from Michigan trying to feel better about life. When I'm up to it I love to do crafts, listen to music, camp, fish, color detailed pics, go on walks with my little pom dog angel. And love spending time with family. I live with my mom helping her out. Trying to be strong for her but it's just so hard. I moved in to live with her when we put my dad in the nursing home in November because we didn't want her alone. I love my parents so much and going through the death of my father is so very hard. Never imagined it could be this hard. Looking forward to meeting new people and making friends. Thanks for reading, all for now.
About my Loss:
My father passed away on May 22nd 2020. This has been the hardest thing I have ever dealt with. He suffered for 4 years with Alzhiemers and Congestive Heart failure. I was by his side holding his hand when he passed away. I have these waves of emotions that just tears at me. I knew it would be hard, but never imagined this hard. Thanks for reading.

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
